Samuel B. Goldberg is our Senior Defense Litigator. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Tufts University in 1982 and his Juris Doctorate from Boston University School of Law in 1985. He is a member of the state and federal bars in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and New York State.

In 1990, Mr. Goldberg returned home to Massachusetts after serving as a senior prosecutor in Brooklyn, New York. While in that position, Mr. Goldberg was in charge of the investigation and prosecution of various types of criminal matters including sex crimes, elder abuse, child abuse, narcotics, assault and murder. Since that time, he has been engaged in private practice specializing in various criminal law and civil litigation. He handles a wide variety of criminal matters, ranging from Operating under the Influence to narcotics, sex, elder and special victim abuse, homicide and white collar cases. His civil experience includes matters ranging from personal injury to contract and other business disputes. He has also utilized his expertise to act as a legal consultant for various lawyers and companies, an example of this being the recent investigation into the Office of the Medical Examiner for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Mr. Goldberg has also been a familiar face on the lecture circuit and on national television. He has lectured at the National Association of Police Organizations, Lorman Educational Services, Essex County Bar Advocates, Practicing Law Institute, Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, Institute for Paralegal Education, Committee For Public Counsel Services, Federal Criminal Justice Agency and local area high schools on a variety of topics and has appeared on the Fox News Channel, Court TV, MSNBC and The BBC Network as a legal analyst. He has also been a member of the adjunct faculty at Boston University School of Law teaching advanced trial advocacy.
