Asia Fitzgerald is a Criminal Defense and Civil Litigation Attorney at Altman & Altman, LLP. She is a graduate of the University of South Florida where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a concentration in Spanish. Ms. Fitzgerald received her Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School.
While attending Suffolk University Law School, Asia was a law clerk for several law firms in the greater Boston area and interned for the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office. She also co-founded ALPFA Law Boston- Suffolk Chapter, conducted a directed study on behalf of the Office of the Children's Advocate in Jamaica, and authored a publication on child abuse in the journal, Bearing Witness.
Attorney Fitzgerald's practice at Altman & Altman spans criminal, civil, and probate matters. She has successfully represented her clients in a wide range of criminal matters including wiretapping, robbery, larceny, fraud, firearm possession, assault and battery, operating under the influence, and drug charges from possession to trafficking. On the civil side, Asia handles cases covering motor vehicle collisions, slip and fall accidents, catastrophic injury claims, as well as probate matters including child custody and divorce.
Outside of the office, Asia likes to stay active by doing hot yoga, barre, and any other hipster fitness activity she can find. She is also an avid sports fan who has been known to wear a cheesehead to the office on roughly 70% of the Mondays in the fall. Asia, an aspiring sommelier, can often be found at wine tastings with her friends.
